Kid's asleep, time for Netflix.

Hello, social world. This is a blog. Testing, testing.

This blog is meant to be an adventure and an outlet, for myself and my loving wife, all about the many wonderful things that keep us amused and entertained while our kid is not around. (Upon the wife's insistance, I've been asked to clarify that we are wonderful parents. We are. We've only dropped her, like, twice. Well, three times, but if she fell off on her own doesn't count is what I've always said.)

So where to begin? Whaere do we lose ourselves? What keeps us busy and entertained once Dora the Explorer has been mercifully put on mute for the night? I've been thinking about starting this joint adventure with the wife by posting a long good rant about the healing properties of gazing into the steely eyes of Benedict Cumberbatch, but that's not only a terrible welcome message, it's creepy and this isn't Tumblr.

So, here's where we will post that amuse, entertain, engage or purposefully make us sad after we put the baby (toddler) to bed. I would guess that plenty of times, we'll talk about her. Technology fumbles, political non rants, vaccine shots, noisy neighbors and squeaky door handles might make their way onto these pages. Maybe a cat or two. Plus, tips on how to keep your hobbies while your kid hovers, trying to steal your brushes and scrapbook glue.
